Looking for a good mazda shop in Omaha...

:
2008 mazda 3i saloon, 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege
My MSP badly needs a tune-up/turbo rebuild currently and i was wondering if the Woodhouse mazda stealership is the only certified mazda place round these parts. Any suggestions?

Woodhouse Mazda would probably be the best dealer to go to. However there are a few shops than can do the same work and for less money than a dealer. I'm assuming that since the car is no longer under warranty that the Mazda mechanics aren't needed. Sublime does a lot of the import cars in the area and I'm sure Mike could help you out with what you want. I've never had any work done by him but I can vouch that he is a good guy since he used to coach my hockey team.

The shop I would recommend the most is C&S Motorsports. I took my car there for its baseline dyno and will for any work that I cannot do in my garage. I am also going to have them do a custom tune for my MS3. The shop owner is Tom and knows a thing or two. He got 45 HP out of my moms Vette that was supposed to have been tuned already. They also do a lot of aftermarket supercharger and turbo work. The currently have a yellow Protege outside that is for sale. They say its not a mazdaspeed but I could have swore it was. He said they put a turbo on that so I'm sure he could help you with your MPS. It's also just a great shop to have a look around in. Some absolutely amazing cars in there. Turbo vettes, 5.0 stangs, every sort of vintage muscle car you can imagine.

Right on thanks a lot man! Looks like you helped me out in finding a shop for my T/A as well.

You should come out to the auto crosses some time. Just got back from one today. NTIMD8R was out there with me on Saturday. The T/A or MSP are both great cars to run hard.

Yes I will be autoxing soon as some tire money comes through... So c&s motorsport is supposed to be somewhere on 152nd street and when i went to the location that google, their site and my gps provided me it turned out to be just a bunch of houses. Any of you guys know where exactly this place is?

Thats strange. I just went to their site and searched the address like you did. Definitely not the right place. Let me go find their card really quick.

This is strange. The card lists the same address. That must be his house where he wants mail for his shop shipped to. I'll have to ask him what the address for the shop is the next time I see him which may be tomorrow at the drag strip.

So I saw him at the drag strip but I was one of the next cars up and couldn't go talk with him. He was there tuning a turbo Vette which was running 6's on the 1/8th! Going in that direction today and I will see exactly what street its on.

Ok I messed up. Went over to the graphics shop thats in the same building to give him some of my contingency stickers to put on magnets for me. Even went into the C&S side and talked with Tom and set up an appointment for him to tune my car. And I forgot to check the street name or ask him what the shop address is! I'll be there on the 4th for my appointment and I won't forget then!

Any luck?

My appointment got moved back because he was having trouble working on a supercharged Camaro. I went over to pick up my magnetic decals from the shop next door and went in for my appointment and he was swamped and couldn't get me in. It happens when you work on cars though. I was able to talk to the guy in the shop next door and the address is correct but its a new building and road. So, google maps and map quest don't have it registered yet. Thats why it shows its somewhere in a neighborhood.

Search just S 152nd AVE Omaha NE on google maps but don't click any of the did you means. Thats the road its on but the map is way out of date.
