How much did the dealer charge you for the Mazdaspeed CBE? I'm thinking about getting that. Hurry up and install it and tell us if you can feel any difference!

lol Ok, I'll get it installed soon. I need to get base line numbers first... you know, do it right, so that I know how much power my car is putting down.. then add the CAI, dyno, then CBE...dyno. (headbang)

Oh yeah, the price for the system was 565.00 shipped. The prices on the MazdaSpeed site at www.mazdausa.com are the ones I used, the dealer had some other JACKED up prices... lol Showed them!

What??? With a CBE he can floor it all he wants without boost spike. And besides we spike at 20 anyway and drop to 16 to 16.5.

your implying spikeing to 20 psi is normal??, then how come it doesn't do it when stock?, it needs to be tuned!.

it only happens with downpipe upgrade and cat removals...less restriction and then it spikes high ,then the computer has to compensate...all he did was basic DEALER upgrades which wont require tune.

It does do this stock thats what I am saying in the first place. As clos stated, no tune is needed until downpipe is widened and or cats are removed.

Hmm... ok, well I don't plan on doing any down pipes, or cat removals any time soon. lol

Maybe one day; when I get another replacement car... 6, 7 years down the road... but we'll see. Anythings possible at this point! lol
