Location of Sirius Sat. Radio in a 2006 MS6 GT

so i just bought a 2006 MS6 GT, an di noticed a sirius sat. radio attena on the dash were the front windshield meets..... is that factory? im thinking not, but how can i tell if my car has a factory one? would like to use it if there is one installed.

if you push the SAT button on your radio it should cycle through SR1, SR2, and SR3 on the display... if it is installed that would be a very poor instalation, considering the reciever itself should be located in the trunk

mine is fixed to one of the cross braces behind the rear seat and my antenna is stuck to the outside of my rear windshield, also not the best spot for reception, but a much better location cosmeticly

Factory location for the antenna is centered along the upper part of the trunk where it meets the rear windshield. As for the Sat reciever if mounted to factory specs it will be in trunk pass side behind the carpeting that covers the quaterpanel. It will be double sided taped to a brace there...
