location of egt probe on msp any pics???

The egt should be placed half the diameter of the primary tube of the exhaust manifold away from the cylinder head. It doesn't matter what type of car.

tanks for answering any pics

You should drill a hole 2 inches from the cyl. head on the 1st cyl. nearest to the throttle body(on the exhaust manifod). I suggest using grease on the drill and the tap to minimise metal in the exhaust manifold (to prevent turbo damage). If you are not sure on how to do this , i suggest you to go to the nearest speed shop .

Also, when you tap it, have the car running, that way the exhaust pulls the shavings out.

And the shaving will not damage the turbo ?? anybody can confirm this ?? I think it's better to uninstall it.

Yes , the best would be to uninstall it , but it can be leaved in place , but the metal chips will go trought the turbo and into the Cat ....

Why do you want pics so bad?

i spoke with the main mechanic at SPD about the placement of the EGT. He pointed out to me another location to install the sensor (the J-pipe). What I noticed is that the stock J-pipe of the MSP acutally has a bunge with bolt covering it up. I don't know if it will work, but try plugging in the sensor there. Any thoughts on this?
