I've been doing searches on springs and the info's been really helpful.....

But does anyone with lowering springs have a problem when their P5 is full loaded (ie. 3 adults at the back with luggage and/or equipment)?

I've been going on some long driving trips fully loaded (and plan to do more) and noticed that the rear wheels only have a cm left of gap...I realize coilovers would do the trick but if I won't have problems with springs (any make) I'd like to save the cash.

Thanks.

hmmm, i have a 1999 with a lowering kit and when i load it up with people in it, it still doesnt rub.but im not sure for your application.

Taken from eibach's FAQ:

Q: Can I load the normally allowed load (trunk) also with an Eibach Pro-Kit?

A: All Eibach Pro-Kits are designed for the same maximum load like the OE springs. Actually, a progressive Eibach spring generates higher resistance under heavier load.

CanMP5 - haig over in Quebec has our Sport Spec P5 springs on his car. You should read his replys at the following thread. Pics as well as comentary by haig is available.

well, i just drove from Chicago to Waterloo (about an 8 hour drive) with my P5 FULL of stuff. i can tell you that the ride quality didn't seem to suffer at all (other than the car being slow as hell!), and at no time did i hit the bump-stops...even on sh*tty michigan roads. (thumb)
