List all Mazda's you have owned.:)

Ahh man haha I wish mine was that cheap I'm 19 and to keep insurance down on the 2 I just pay my parents each month but I bought the miata and I had to do the insurance on that one alone it was $140 a month so I had fun with the car for a few weeks... Will definitely get another when the time is right :)

Dude.. my insurance per month is $306 at 19 years of age. You're luckkyy to have $140. I'd cry like a school girl to have $140 per month

Just my trustee '11 Mz2 for me.

Damn...with that many cars I was expecting you to be at least 15 years older. So did you do much work on most of the cars you've owned or just drive them as is for a few months then sell?

I have a problem modding everything. my 90 626gt is the only FE3 swapped 626 in the states. my beater 97 626 is the only Maf converted kl 626 in the states also im pretty sure. usually i just find cars for too cheap to say no to. then fix them, and sell them. use the profits to fund toys for my other cars. either that, or alot of times cars just become donors for other projects. i spent 7 years employed in a forced induction specialty shop. and i rubbed off alot on my personal habits and what i tend to spend my time and money on. plus all my closest friends are mazda owners and were always working on something. my best friend has the only 5 lug swapped, 4 wheel big brake kit mx3 sitting on RX8 18's. its KL swapped with a nasty T3 turbo. were really contemplating doing a F2T swap to it now. lol

To get insurance last year when I was 19 with 2 tickets and an accident, full coverage on the 2 and liability on the S10, was going to be over $800 a month! So I put the 2 on my parents' insurance and now I only pay them $50 a month for full coverage on the the 2. Liability for the RX7 is only $51 a month though...(my own policy)

Well that was for just liability, I'm guessing you have full coverage on the 2? Full coverage on the miata was $290 :( your paying a lot man but the 2 is worth it :)

Yeah full coverage I'm pretty sure.. and where I'm at, Insurance is either one of the most expensive places in Canada, or North America.. or something like that which never helps. Lmao, every day I'm making it a little bit more worth it :P

Just saw the insurance discussion. How does 396 for full coverage sound? That's the cheapest I found, just so happened to be under my parents policies.

When I was 19 I was paying 220 a month for insurance (mustang), went down to 160 when I was 21 and now that im 32 its practically nothing....just keep getting older and not die and youll get there too.

2002 Protege5 (full MSP turbo kit + bolt ons - 215 whp/220 wtq): 2005-2009
2001 Protege LX (wife's DD): 2005-2010
1989 RX-7 GXL (current project): 2009-present
2011 2 Touring (current DD): 2011-present

The Protege5 was the reason I joined this forum. Unfortunately no more Mazdas, and no new cars in general, planned unless I stumble across a stock, classic rotary for a decent price.

1994 Protege LX: totalled, hit by a driver running a red light
1996 626: College/ getting on my feet boring workhorse. It is now owned by my uncle and sits.
2002 Protege 5: Winter beater/ people hauler.
1995 Miata: Fun car for 3 years, trying to get it sold
1991 Miata: Second chance, going to do it much better than the other one

The protege 5 brought me here, the miata's have kept me sane..

(oh and when I drove the 626, my dad and sister both had one as well :D)

Is that for your 2?! I'm younger than you and pay less in this area?!? That's messed up

Had mostly trucks, but they sure started my love of Mazda.

1992 B2200 SE5 s.cab, Drove this thing all over, the most reliable used rig I ever owned, regret selling it but I needed a bigger truck. Had over 150k on it when I sold it still fired right up and ran like new.

1986 B2000 SE5 xcab, Scored it from a wrecking yard for $600, still going strong at well over 200k, my moms gardening/dump running truck now, drives it at least one a week. Only things Ive ever done to it were a battery, tuneup, tires, and oil changes.

1993 B2600i LE5 xcab, bought this truck on a whim, boy was it quick when it was running well, had ecu and other electrical issues with it ended up selling it.

2011 MZ2 Sport, first new car, I sure do love this thing.

I have to say, if you need a little run around truck youd be hard pressed to beat the carbed 86-93 B series trucks, if you can find one in decent shape, with the most basic of maintinence you will have a very trusty and efficient little workhorse.
