So I finally got around to filling my new stock mounts. It was 129 for all 4 mounts, and 27.99+ shipping for the liquid urethane.

Tape 1 side of the motor mount, seal with some rubber cement. Set all mounts in a box filled with sand or cat litter to catch whatever drips off or through the duct tape.

Make the fix, then fill em up.

These 2 ended up not being full when I went to ck on em, had to order another kit to refill

compared to real aftermarket mounts, how long would these last and what durometer would it match?

Nice work. But I didn't think they looked like OEM mounts. Don't think you can even get one of those for $129, let alone all of the 3 engine and 1 trans mounts.

I have done this before. I hope that you cut out some of the rubber "separating" the two sides before pouring. or you may find that the urethane pops out after a while

I got off ebay, they are some knock off ones. The fill is rated at 80a durometer. Cut what out? I didnt cut anything.

When you get them installed, please report back on the vibration level with respect to the stock mounts. It will be another data point ..... I have some new mounts in my future and an still on the fence about which way to go.... THX

I will be putting in shortly, I just got my liquid kit and finished what I started the other week.

I used polyurethane window adhesive from Lowes/Home Depot. Cost less than $10 and my mounts are rock-solid.

Put the mounts in today, took about 1hr 30 for all 4 mounts. The back 1 wasnt as much of a PIA as everyone said it was. The mounts seem solid for now, a bit more vibration then I had, it wasnt to smooth since I got it. The old mounts were destroyed.

It's kind of like a movie. If you go in expecting it to be awesome, you will be disappointed, but if you go in expecting a disaster, it won't be that bad.

How are your mounts? I did the 3m window weld mount fill a couple years ago on my 04 mazda 6s(v6), but no luck...
