Accually I fixed the rich at idle issue. The car goes into the shop tomorrow. Hopefully it will be done in less than a month.

Just Joking!!

Whoa.. I didnt even know you were going into the shop so soon. Thanks for fillin a brother in!.. When are you going? I might go the same time if I can to pay him the money I owe him.

Well this afternoon I went out to start my car, and it wouldn't start. It's warmer now, and I need to tune the startup for warmer weather. It starts fine when it's cold now, it's just when it's warm. Almost got it tuned the way I want it. (thumb)

sell your body for car parts to be shipped overnight?...

I'm not sure if the body man will go for that....
but ya never know. when my car was done it took about 2 weeks (for just one fender to be slightly fixed and repainted, a lower control arm, one wheel to be fixed and a new tire.)

get it in as soon as you can but check to see how fast they claim they can.

good luck brother

Sheeeit.. my body work guys turned around an entire side of a car for me in 3 days... and did a full front end (bumpers and grills) in 2 days. I didn't realize that was abnormal! LOL. I don't think I've ever had him do a job that took more than 4 days.

I think a lot of mine was ordering MP3 specific parts like the emblem (which was hard to find at the time they said) and the turn around time for shipping the wheel off to be fixed. plus I got to watch all the progress online becaue they have monitoring at that shop... its a really nice one. you can NOT tell there was ever any damage to my car.. the paint blended perfectly.

Yeah, I haven't had work done on the MP3 yet. So I certainly can see where that could become rather slow.. .we all know how great Mazda is about stocking parts that are specific to the MSP's and MP3's :)

I'm using the same shop that Ahmad had his car fixed at. He said about a month. But I will do what I can to help him out to get it fixed fast.

BTW.. after I made that post, I was able to get the car started about an hour later with the help of a friend of mine from the Dominican Republic (Claudio). His site is http://www.tuningtechnology.com

Turns out I needed MORE fuel to start the car. The coolant correction maps were not adding enough fuel at the warmer temps. Over Yahoo Instant Messenger, he helped me out. He's really experienced at Cold Start issues.
