Incase any of you haven't noticed, Linuxracer hasn't posted in a couple of days. He went to the emergency room on Tuesday morning because his appendix was about to burst. He had it out and is now one appendix lighter. Me and my wife went to see him yesterday at the hospital and I kept trying to make him laugh because he said it hurt when he laughs. Aren't guys nice like that, I thought it was funny. One laugh, then a wince of pain. lol!(rofl) He's alright though, I think he gets out today.

I've read that it used to serve a purpose back in the stone ages. It would digest things such as bark and other hard things like that. I've also read that people have been disected by med students and they would find the wierdest thing in there. A tooth, fingernail clippings, etc. I've also read that when they did an autopsy on John Wayne they found like 20lbs of undigested meat stuckto his intestinal walls. No wonder you lose lots of weight when you have a colonic.
I watch the discovery channel and other channels like that all the time. I also remember just about every trivial factoid like that when I read or hear them. In Maxim magazine, they showed a photo of someone's appendix with a tooth in it. They sent one of their writers to a health spa where they do colonics, and he had a marble come out of there. He said he doesn't remember eating a marble, but maybe when he was a baby. The spa said people find all kinds of wierd things in their crap that comes out. They have a basket that catches the odd stuff like that so you can see if anything harmfull might have been up there. I kinda have a photographic memory in that sort of way. I soak up little factoids like that all the time.

I have really good recall memory like that too.....bugs the crap out of my wife and kids sometimes...lol. I use to watch all sorts of informational game shows long ago...and now I am just FULL of that sort of stuff....played trivial pursuits many years ago when it first came out too....you can get all sorts of stuff in your head from that.....

man i remember when i got my appendix out...it had ruptured and absest...took me 3 weeks to recover i was on morphine for 5 days after the surgery too

Get well soon Linux... I have to admit that I too thought AH had something to do with it.
I once went to the E.R. cause I collapsed and they thought it was my appendix. Turns out I had gall stones and pancreatitis! (All stress related.) Couldn't believe how much that hurt, so I can relate to Linux... Stop trying to make him laugh!!! lol...
They say that laughter is the best medicine... it might hurt, but it's good for him to be with friends like you Big Ben. It'll speed his recovery.

Well he's still in the hospital. He should be out anytime now. It had nothing to do with AH. I'm not so sur about my car though. It got spraypainted twice last week within 3 days! Maybe it's her and she's pissed that I hang out with Patrick. She did go to the hospital and go psycho, the security ended up making her leave.
