LineX Spray vs Rear Bumper Guard

I've got a Meteor Gray CX5 on order and had been considering getting LineX to spray the top of the rear bumper (going over the edge a little).

I've had the spray on the bed of my truck and it has held up quite nicely over the years. In addition, the color of the vehicle should make it not noticeable at first glance.

I'm considering getting the wheel wells and maybe leading edge of hood too.

Thoughts?

Not a bad idea for the rear bumper, as long as you're talking about a defined area under the hatch where vinyl cladding usually goes on other makes. As for the rest of it, really a BAD idea.

Plasti dip works really well for this and is easily removable and easy to put on. Search the site and you can find pictures of people that used it. I did a whole front bra with it and its great.
