Lighting weirdness on my 07 5 GT

The past couple of months we have noticed our auto light system is acting up. even when the switch is on the off position. the relay and dash lights are still flicking on and off. Does anyone have any ideas regarding this issue and how I can fix it? Is it just the relay going south or maybe the light stalk on the column?

Sorry, is it the dash lights or the headlights? If it's the dash lights, are they flickering on and off... or from the dark mode to light mode? If so, in my '07 GT they do this if the dimmer adjustment to turned to close to the switchover to full bright... back it down a bit and they shouldn't flicker.

The dash lights do....do this, but I think its more than that, the park lights come on etc when the key is out and the stalk is on the off position. but I will check out that. Does your dash lights do this in the daytime?

Does the GT have an auto-dimmer sensor? Is it covered by mud/dirt?

My headlights and parking lights work normally. My dash lights only flicker a little if I've managed to leave the dimmer too close to the point where they are always bright vs dimming when you turn the lights on (you hear that beep).

Wishmaster, tried that with no avail. My lights actually come on with no keys in the car. So after I turn the car off, the lights flick on and off some times. that lights up the park lights etc. I think its the switch.

OK, lights come on w/o the key...sounds like a bad switch. I retract my previous post.

Just wanted another opinion. I will buy a new stalk and go from there.

I just noticed, when I take the key out, the lights come on sometimes, I just move the steering wheel in the lock and it goes out. My ignition sorta fell apart on the outside, the plastic etc fell off. Would this have anything to do with it. I am going to bring it to the dealer I think to have them have a look. I need this fixed. Im going out of my mind listening to the relay clicking. Even when the lights are on.
