Since volk makes a s*** load of wheels, I'm assuming you mean a particular type of volk? But volk does not make the lightest 17in wheel. Hell some volk wheels are 25 - 30 lbs.

Pretty much all the wheels on that list are hella expensive. I personally have a set of the Buddyclub P1 SFs, which is the cast version on the QF. It's a good wheel.

Yeah I think the te37 mag forged is around $1700 per wheel

When serching Tire Rack for 17" rims for a speed 3, select the 2003 MazdaSpeed Protege.

I'll be getting the rims in the link as soon as my stock tires wear out. They are 13.7 lbs and 17x7. Alot of members will say get a wider size but the 7" is stock size and I'm not racing or auto-x ing my car so 17x7 will do me just fine.

Keep the offset at +45 or above or you wheel might stick out too far. The stock offest is +52 1/2 I believe. You might be ok with as low as +40 if you stay with the stock tire width.
