It's fun to play along with Jamiroquai while watching the DVD. Musical and visual stimulation. ;)

Well I got those from my friend, Chris (03zoomzoom) and he pulled some strings with the dealership where he worked to get me them and he no longer works there. But you can send him a pleading PM and see if he still has access to some diagrams.

The only one's I have are for Milly's and OBD2... Sorry, mate.

edit- I'm sitting here at the computer playing my bass, look over and see my Haynes manual for the PGT, MX-6 and 626 on my book shelf staring at me. heh-heh. I'm sure your local Autozone has one on the shelf and they have all the wiring diagrams in the back from 93-01. :)

triple edit- or you can just let me know which wires you need and I'll can look them up. Or take pics and post them.

I have a scanner. You can do that too.

OK now I am committed to doing the manual rack. Will be pulling the motor here next week to get at it. Found a 91 protege rack for $50 bucks on car-part.com. I will be doing weight comparisons (main reason why I want to do this) and post up some info when I find out stuff.

Thanks for all the tips so far guys!

also anyone know a good cheap place to get some coil overs?

Sweet, mate. I've been waiting until after Christmas to buy more parts for the P5 so it doesn't look like I'm being too selfish. muhaha. PLEASE let me (us) know how it goes. (2thumbs)

And I got a PM from a local cat if you're interested;

Will likely be selling the NASA/SCCA race car without the good suspension bits. Are you interested?

Koni inserts new in box for $1000 (not including shipping)
Ground Contol springs/adjustable perches $400 (not including shipping)

Should save you about $100 for brand new parts

His user name is rpiekarczyk if you want to send him a PM.

he sold them yesterday to a member in Houston.

I keep hearing Ksports aren't all the great for racing. But it's all hearsay. What about some BC's? I don't have any track time on mine yet but a lot of local cats have them and like them.

How about these AWR coilovers for $750? I bought some brake pads from him and he's a good seller. I'm trying not to buy his RPF1's... heh-heh

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he keeps saying he wants to replace them. Check his build thread, yO!

Bill, is looking to replace the K sports, he went to stiffer springs and in reality should have revalve the shocks. I am going to contact a good friend of mine who is a suspension guru and get his recommendation for set up for Spicy. He was a crew chief for Tri-Point back in the day.

Please post what he says, Marlon. I've got BC's like you so I would love a good starting point to work with. :)

KW Variant 2's...

i love my k sport. i have the rr's. i need to have them rebuilt, but they are still currently so precise. very stiff and not too comfortable for daily driving, but you get used to it fast. and you have a lot of adjustment. i love mine and wouldnt trade them for another brand

ive ridden in some buddies cars and they have different brand coilovers (bc, raceland, and one i am forgetting) and they all felt similar. they feel mearly like oem stiffness and have a smoother ride, and handle very well, but dont seem to have that certain feel to them. with the k sports you feel like you are connected to the road and they transfer a signal between pavement to driver better than any set up ive ever been in.

Well, Racelands are s***. Probably the most underdamped suspension in the world. Riding in a car with a certain suspension means next to nothing because your butt really isn't going to notice a 50 lb difference in spring rates unless you're actually driving it. I highly recommend driving the cars with different suspensions.

If you really want to feel a good coilover suspension, check out the KW Variant II's, or the JIC Magic FLT-2A's. Of course the downside for both of those are that they're over $1500 a set new... but there's a good reason for that.

the ksports are 1200 a set new, lol. but yes if i can squeeze a drive in any of those cars i will hahah
