Thanks, MP5Mat.

As far as the KLDE/ZE swap, what time frame are you looking at? I'm in NorthEastern Ohio (44262) and could certainly give you a hand and possibly swap it here at my house. Again, depending on your time frame and such. Send me a PM and we can chat about it. :)

Thanks for the hospitality! Thats pretty awesome of you. Problem is, I am Active Duty Air Force currently stationed in Belgium. I left the car with at my moms so I had one to drive while on leave stateside and to restore. Im looking to pay to have some one do it as much as I would love to get involved in the build. I simply cant. This car is my baby though, and I want to restore it because honestly I plan on keeping it for the rest of her/my days. Time frame if I find someone willing to do the build (obviously I will pay a labor, parts, ect) is pretty much a year as I will not need the car till Thanksgiving next year. Once again though, its pretty rad that you would offer that up to a stranger. Nice to know the world not full of DB's. Living around french speaking Belgians I tend to forget that. lmao

^^^ Ummm, not really. You typically have a spare car, the rest of us don't. Honestly, it comes down to work ethics and procedures. I research everything before I even pick up a wrench. We make good roommates, but I think my half of the garage is a bit more organized and I work much slower, very particular of how the parts fit and don't get mad, curse and kick things if they don't. That's just real talk, Phen. We're pretty much polar opposites when it comes to wrenching. I'm not saying I'm better than you or anything, but I have my way of wrenching and you have yours.

Anyway, the point of me asking about the time frame for your swap, MP5Mat, was because I would be glad to swap your P5 for you. But I would want to do it in my own garage when Lewis Motorsports is back up and that won't be until this time next year... We just don't have the space and room for another car right now, mate. That's not an excuse from me, it's just the truth. 3 car guys in one house with too many cars means not much room. But if you can hold out until next year, bring it over to Lewis Motorsports and I'll certainly take care of it for you. (2thumbs)

LOL. We'll test it with Shamu first to test how much weight it can handle...

Phen, I'll clean your shelves off and you can have them back. You would've had them when your dad dropped them off when you were in China but your half of the garage is such a s*** hole that there wasn't any space for it. So it was moved to my side. I'm going to bite my tongue and talk to you about the rest in person.

When I get my own place with my own garage next year, it will be spotless/organized and Lewis Motorsports will live on once again without anyone getting butt-hurt about it. That's all I have to say about that.

Back on topic; I ordered all the parts I think I'll need for the Milly swap this weekend from RockAuto. New belts, hoses, radiator (the previous owner said there was a small leak at one time) and gaskets. Hopefully things go smoothly this weekend. If any local guys want to come over and give me a hand I will greatly appreciate it. Then the P6 will go on jackstands for a few months while getting rebuilt. Then when it's done (for the time being) in the spring it will be even more fun to drive. I'm pretty pumped. :)

so you're still good to go for this saturday? it's supposed to be 60* and sunny! :)

Yeah. We have to take a pause around noon for that Ford drive for Marc's school, but afterwards we'll be back at it. Are you coming over to help, or just work on your own car?

Dude, why delete posts? Does that magically remove what you said? What's said is said. I'm not mad. Just keep the that stuff in your own build thread. badda bing badda boom. Problem solved. :)

So Wes is going to come over and replace his brake lines and Kevin is coming over to swap wheels and install mudflaps. Maybe Peaches will be around to help. :P

(just kidding around)
