the nice thing is that the P6 will be all set for the ZE for the most part, not sure how its going to work with ur 95 harness and ecu, but i have seen the 95 probe and mx6 guys run the ze, so might look into that, but ur exhaust will be all set, so it should be fairly simple. And I fully support the idea of the ZE in the P6

95 is easy to swap a ZE in to..since it is the last year of OBD1 on the Probe. The only thing I caution you is that you might need a 3 bolt intermediate shaft for the ZE, or modify the flange on a 2 bolt one to be a 3-bolt one that some ZEs have..

We actually just did a stock motor swap into my parts '95 this past weekend, so it can be put up for sale! Good luck!

alright sounds easy enough for him, i obviously have no experience with the 95s and a ZE, figured it shouldnt be bad

Yeah..using a 96 harness would have made for a mess with all of the additional emissions crap, 4 02 sensors, etc..

With the MS, you will be shocked at how much stuff you can get rid of and how quickly the engine bay cleans up and empties out. With the ZE, just be sure you swap the intake side valvetrain for the DE stuff (preferrably late model (96+)) as they changed the lock design and the retainer to a much improved design.

Pink text usually signifies sarcasm... Idk what orange text is. But it sure as Hell doesn't mean you're joking..... Lmao I'm just joshing.

That's the color that this new damn format allows. It says it's salmon. I call bulls***. Just found you can go to "other colors"

hahaha i think there just needs to be a new universal understanding of sarcasm without colored text...

There used to be before the new gen of people came on here and got all butt hurt about everything.

Ok, enough side banter.

but....side banter is what makes the world go 'round... Just ask our government (unamused)......

Evan has been awfully quiet lately.....

Well, I think we figured this all out before. I have a 95 ECU, MAF and wiring harness but it's OBD2 so it has 4 O2 sensors. I want to swap to MS for the cleaner install and tuning capabilites but I'm a total newb when it comes to software, tuning and wiring. I freaking hate wiring. haha, I like soldering, but hate wiring schematics and that stuff. Pablo might get his air intake purchased from me if he does all my wiring. lulz. And I know about the valve retainers dropping valves in the ZE's so I'll swap all that stuff over and probably MillyS rods or aftermarket rods for boost next year.

I foresee many trips to Wendy's, indeed.

I LOL'ed at that. I buy lunch (usually Wendy's) when my friends give me a ride to the parts store or help out on the weekend.

No help from me?

Well screw you too buddy! Haha.

Haha, you're not going to be home anyway, turkey. And I don't think our work ethics mesh too well. ;)

Also, Xtremethings has sets of DE springs/retainers for sale now and then on ebay.

Don't bother with S rods. Get yourself a set of K1 rods. They are really nice, affordable, and they are the appropriate length. S rods are .026" shorter.

Honestly, I hate wiring as well. It took me a few hours to do all of the cutting/soldering for the MS install in to my '95. Granted I had done it before, but the harnesses from DIY are labeled. Then all you need are the pinouts and/or the MS wiring table that can be had from the powersquirt website. Is that a '95 Millenia harness or Probe? If it is a Probe/Mx6 one then there are excel sheets with all of the info you need to hook up the MS and it makes it very simple.

Wes, like you're surprised. You're going to have a supacharger on your KL with NAWS! That will be baller. I just want to run N/A in 2012 so I can get used to the car more on the track and work on my driver mod, then I'll add more powa. But I don't plan on going crazy with the boost, maybe 8psi. If i still want moar power then I'll buy an FC and put an LS in it. But boost is still a full year down the road. I might just build this ZE for N/A then another clean DE for boost. The beautiful thing about KL's is they're so cheap!

Thanks for the heads up on rods, John. I've got a ton of research to do first. I research everything before I spend money so a lot of what I'm typing to day is just future plans and talking out loud. First, swap the motor out, then buy the ZE, then I'll go from there. :)

Phen, you have that wedding next weekend (the 12th is when the Milly will get swapped) and honestly, I work pretty slowly and have to do everything myself so I think Pablo and Wes are the only two that can deal with my crazy. heh-heh. But of course you're more than welcome to hang out and help. s***, I'll be using half your tools anyway, sucka.

*marks down the 12th on calender* now i can ask a crap load of questions and touch everything!!! hahaha!

though i'll probably borrow a jack for 5 min and swap to winter wheels, that's all for my car! the rest all you buddy!

I'd love to come up and help but I'll be going to Indiana to see the g-parents
