Letters are working!

go for it, the reason why I am getting so upset is the constant runaround with Mazda Canada. They just thing it's a little noise, and they dont' care. I don't think they even realize that the handling is effected, I got the impression from the message this guy left for me.....oh it's just a little rattle that'sall kind of attitute

HELLO! My car is being held together by TAPE! Otherwise my sway bar almost falls off and my handling is seriously reduced.

man I dont mind doing it but if i go alone it wont work. so all these guys should agree on, u know. i'm pretty sure there should be atleast 20 to 25 mp3s in GTA and surroundings( i mean about 1 to 1.5 hour drive from MOC) but they all have to teamup to get some thing done rather than reading all these postings and wait for some one to do something and get the benifits from it ( hope u know what i mean eh).

yeah, I pitty anyone in the early 20's or younger trying to get help this..they just won't listen.

little known fact

Being young means you get no respect.

Unless you earn it.

isn't that true. i'm 23 and i look like i'm 17. i get so angery when people don't give me respect just b/c i'm young. but boy do i give them a peice of my mind and make them feel 2 feet tall when they don't give me the respect that other older people get. it's sad to say but it's true.

Well, I got that letter from the idiot that called me a week or two ago .. see above ..

Basically said, your car is fixed, case closed, and it had a free key chain in it.....whoopee.

But, it also had this guys business card attached to it. Gee, lookie here, an email adress, AND phone numbers.

Oh lordie what should I ever do?

Tomorrow will be very interesting.

I couldn't get a hold of this kerk by phone today, so I emailed another letter to him, and everyone else's email that was attached to the letter the sent me in the CC section

No reply yet.

My Email probably wasn't the nicest of things to read, but my patience are just finished.

im 20, ive been tryin to get my car fixed for 5 months now and they keep sayin you have to wait for the rep. After 4 months i went to another dealer and im still waiting i called yesterday and they said he's not on the itinerary for at least 2 more weeks. this is BS. my car squeeks and clunks like crazy it sounds like such a POS. is there any way to get the district rep to come out sooner. ive even call Mazda NA. they say he only comes every 6 weeks. well its been way over 6 weeks still no appointment. About 2 months ago i was out of town the day he was at my dealer (go figure) and hey drove my car and said it was fine. i fliped s***. when i picked it up i pulled out of the lot Sqqqueeeeeek clunk clunk!! I fliped at my service rep and i am never goin back to that dealer. my new dealer is much better so far. but still no distict rep.

Well, Ive got an answer, but I don't think I like it

They want to transfer the car to toronto. Have their techs look at it and fix it there, and send it back

I don't like this idea at all. I have some thinking to do.

hay man if you want let them contact me, i live about 30min from their location and i have already fixed an appointment with my dealer to replace my bushings(2nd time) on 25th of Feb (b/c i'm damn busy untill 23rd). so i can ask them to come over to the dealership to have a look at my car while its getting fixed.
if u r intrested email me i'll give u my cell.

newf! tell mazda canada that despite all the problems this mp3 is giving you and how frustrated you are becoming with the bushings you are STILL planning on buying another mazda, a 2003.5 msp. And kinda say "if you care about keeping my business with mazda like i want to, then you will give me a MSP to drive for a week or however long. since my mp3 being shipped to toronto is to make the repairs more convenient for YOU...."

haha wow..thats a good idea..

Too bad mazda won't even give the people who bought their MSP their car, let alone give it to Newf as a loaner...

I say Newf should post this guys Name, Phone Number, and email address so all owners with the clunk, including Mazdaspeed owners, can call him every time it clunks.

If he gets as annoyed about it as you guys are, there might be a little more done about it.

Man, where the heck have i been....i come this is the first i've seen this post....I agree with sttl013. Maybe if we annoy this person enough, something will come out of it.

And newf, what the hell are you thinking? Buying a mazdaspeed? Its the same damn sway bar and people are already complaining about clunks....there's no way in hell i would ever buy one. Can't go through all this hassle again:rolleyes:

Well, what I am thinking is that the MP3 and MAzdspeed is the only car right now within this price range that interests me and even with the infamous clunking problem, I still want another one.

Besides, the bushing problem is only a small fix, it only takes Mazda to recognize the problem and produce the proper bushing( probably urethane) and we will have as close to a "perfect" car I could ever ask for ...again in this price range.

The REAL problem with the MP3/Speed isn't the Car, it's Mazda. They've been ignorant and lazy to address the problem, and as a result, there's still no fix.

I've given up on Mazda themselves, and this latest attempt to fix my car is somewhat unheard of and overkill. Why not fly a tech to see my car? Would be much easier.

As it stands now, I will be taking all of the risk by sending my car what? 2500kms ( just a guess) to TO from NF? it takes at LEAST a week to get there, and back from what I've seen of cars being shipped to and from. And I can't possibly know how long the car will be in TO. What if it gets damaged in the process?

From what I've seen throughout the pattern of the bushings, they could fix it with the usual bushing, think it's done after driving it for a week, only to send it back here and have it act up again 2 weeks later. So if they REALLY want to fix this, they'll need to keep the car for about 2 months. Not exactly idea.

Then there's my personal situation, where I am trying to sell the car. And I can't very well sell it if it's in another province. Not only that, but I live in a small town, about 20-25,000 people. My MP3 is the ONLY one and EVERYONE knows it. I don't ever utter a word around here about the clunk problem. But, if the car is missing for 2-3 weeks even, people will wonder what's up? And if word gets out, I'll never sell it here without loosing my shirt. And that's a shame because, the clunk is the ONLY real problem with it right now.

So, I don't think I'll be taking Mazda up on there offer just yet. I'll see if there's another way.

talk to that mazda corporate guy. shipping a car and having a tech check it out for an extended period of time HAS to be expensive. tell em to get/make you some urethane bushings, that has to be dirt cheap compared to their current plan

Tell them its travelling around in a car show Newf. That should get the calls coming in to buy it from you. :)
Tell Mazda that if they are taking your car for that long, you want a replacement, like a Protege ES or something, while its gone. Take a ton of pictures and let them know if anything is damaged in transit, that you will expect it to be paid for.
