I would definately not RUn the Stage 1..Not a chance....

I am planning on likely running mid-teens on the boost level...so yeah...Its gonna need some meat to hold it all down.

Damn tranny is all I am really worried about....

Especially since its a Brand New OEM Unit.

This is why I mentioned the limits of the Clutchmasters IIR which is way below where you will be! I'm at the limits of my 565cc's and over 300whp and absolutely love the feel of my Exedy stage 1 (holding strong for now) but I'll be looking for an upgrade when I finish my tranny off next year!

I've only seen Spec with something available for big numbers!?

Ok..I offically Weighed the Stocker FLywheel today on a very accurate scale.
18.55lbs. is what it rang in at.

I cant believe they even sell the JDM Spec one of its not under 18lbs.

I wish someone really knew the exact weight of that unit.

But now we have a For sure weight of the OEM unit then the MSP,P5 and MP3.

18.55Lbs.

Any other info or input here?

Anyone Have the Actual JDM Flywheel form Corksport?
I want to know what it actually weighs since I have now weighed the OEM one.

I have the JDM one from corksport. I put a MSP transaxle on my 1.8L and got it to work just fine. I put in a oem Exedy clutch kit and the JDM MSP flywheel. it is lighter by about 2-3 pounds. I found this thread since I'm thinking now about doing the Fidanza. I think that if you have your transaxle off then the JDM is a good mod since your boosted but I'm not runing boost any time soon so for me the fidanza is the way to go

not sure if you've done anything yet, but I have the Fidanza and ACT street setup and its okay for lower boost. once i started getting up into the 16 psi boost range its slipping a bit. the flywheel is great tho. revs like a mother and for the slowing down fast, i love that too. the unsprung weight is just what the motor seems to beg for. our cranks are heavier than s***!

i need a better clutch but would never do anything but resurface my flywheel. i would definitely replace the fidanza with another when the time comes.
