Why do you have to put the stock grille and hood back on?
I put my stock grill and hood back on for one main reason -- gravel. Not only do the places I drive during the winter love to salt beyond reason, but they also love to throw down gravel to try to help with traction. As a result, cars are kicking up gravel all over the damn place -- and the last thing I want is a spray of rocks banging up all my CF stuff.
CF tends to do alright in 'reasonable' winters, though .. As long as it doesn't get severely cold.

people who have to use this car on a daily basis...
is it prepared for winter condtions? like the anti-rust paint and stuff?
how often do you wash it?
and if so, thru a touchless drivethru carwash?
do you use the unercarriage washer too?
I've never had issues with rust on this car, as far as the paint is concerned. At all. Ever. And I drive my car almost every single day -- even in the dead-of-winter months in central PA, with mountains of snow.
I wash it (during the winter) roughly once every two weeks. Sometimes longer, depending on circumstances. But I NEVER take it through a car wash. EVER. I don't trust them. I'll simply suffer for the time it takes me to hand-wash my MSP in the cold. Frostbite FTW!
And no, I don't use an undercarriage washer. That's why some of my shiznit down there is rusted. Nothing too terrible, though -- but when you have to drive through that much snow and salt, it's bound to happen.
And here's s'more old-ass images I found of my MSP in the winter. God, those altezza's really were ugly, weren't they? LOL. Pardon my former bad taste.
