I'd like to see different setups people are running.

Hopefully I'll have pics for you next weekend.
My Injen and hardpipes w/ MAF relocation should get installed on April 15.

I'm trying my hardest not to wet my pants in anticipation.

Here's my setup, the best thing about relocation is no more backfires. :)

Why was it backfiring before?

Originally the MAF was located right next to the filter, so it was metering the

air that the engine wasnt getting after the BOV opened.

You mean you were venting to the atmosphere.... that would be the cause, not due to where the filter is.

Quick question, on the cold pipe pictured below, would the placement of the BOV flange prevent MAF relocation? Would it be too high up on the pipe to allow enough space between TB - MAF - BOV?

Edit: Sorry for threadjack, but I wanted to sub to this thread anyway, lol.

Looks like is would be tight fit if you cut for the MAF. I think the MAF is like

5 inches long and you would need about another inch on each side to put

couplers on.

my brand new hardpipes with MAF relocated. Didn't really notice any changes in engine behavior. Still using stock BPV, but will be getting a forge soon.

the "how to" section didn't find one for MAF relocation. anyone here know where to find one? I want to do this for my MSP b/c of I'm sick of backfiring while blowing off to atmosphere.

Does anyone know exactly how much space is needed between the TB - MAF - BOV? Does it need more space than is required to attach the couplers? It seems like I remember reading somewhere that you need at least X amount of inches between each, but I cant find the thread/post.

Yea, search under threads I started with "MAF" in the title. You will see my older setup.

hey, Tell travis to hurry up w/ the FMIC so I can do my maf re-locate hahaha

What IS THIS MAF you speak of?????

Oh yeah, that thingy with the blue dot on it... yeah... its sooooo gone. WOOT! (evil)

But when I had mine, it was next to the MAM SRI on my hard pipes on the right side. I dont have a pic of it on this computer or else I would've posted it for ya Ben.
