LEDs for the tail lights?

I have seen http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm

Do I get clear or red for the brakes and what type? Is this a direct plug and play for the stop lights?

Forget those bulbs, there only 15 leds!!! Go to ebay under lighting, and they have 25led matrix bulbs! they will definitely light up much brigthter and it has 6 leds facing sideways to light up the entire area; not just a focused beam

What "type" bulb fits/replaces the brake, turn and running lights for the Mazda3? I've seen organic chemisty reactions that are easier to read then autolumination's fitting guide.

I think there are bulb listings in the owner's manual. If not, just pull one out and see what number is on it.

Well the LED's in the Euro lights are not the same kind you buy. The kind you buy are just replacements to the bulb. The only thing you'll really notice is the blink pattern. You physically see the LED's on the Euro model ones.

FYI, they're under $400

for the protege, the high mount stop (the higher light in the tail- the one that you'd want)
is 1157 IIRC.
better double check.

1157? You sure?? That's a double-filament bulb for tail and stop. High-mount stops should only have a single filament, like an 1156.

The high bulb in the Pro5 taillamp also is a running light...so dual filament would be correct.

Nevermind. I mis-read. I thought he was talking about the CHMSL.

Hmmm, so are ALL the lighting elements LEDs in the Euro lighting?

The turn signals are the regular incandescent bulbs, and the tail lights are LED's built into the lens.
