For once someone on ebay actually advertises the truth- they do have the brightest LED's I've ever seen to work in stock, non-led applications. They seem to be the same style as some on the cdnautoworks web site. I ordered some brake light ones the other night- now I'm just waiting for them to arrive.
No affiliation or anything- I'm just a happy customer.

KanseiZM said:I have LEDs for my rear turn signals.. 24 red LEDs in each. I don't feel that they are bright enough during the day, but at night they look fine. The problem is that they are too easily washed out by sunlight. I'd love LED brakelights but I won't go near them until I see them on a Protege5 during the day and it is as bright as the stock bulbs.

Canecreekfreak said:Well, I only tried one in the front turn signal just before dark, and it was brighter than the stock bulb (I left the stock in the other socket for comparison). I haven't tried 'em in the tail lights yet. I'll try 'em in the day light and take some pics.
I had tried the style that SuperbrightLEDs has, and found they weren't very bright. I took a chance on the "tower" type led's the Bazooka Joe posted in his 2nd link (Autolumination?) and those are the kind I'm impressed with- at least on the front turn signal at dusk. Again, I'll try 'em in the day light and snap a pic or 2.
