LED tail lights

So I got these off of ebay not too long ago
here's the link, there are others that are slightly cheaper but these guys are actually in the states (CA) where the others are in china.

Smoked LED tail lights.
They came in today and I installed them. SUPER EASY INSTALL. I'm talking 10 mins MAX.
The only thing you switch is you unplug the main light and plug in the LED ones. Remember that the turn signal goes on top now and the main goes on bottom because of the JDM style.
Also the instructions are in your car manual.

They don't seem all that smoked but it really is. Not tinted btw, the glass is actually smoked.
The LED lights are about the same brightness as the stock ones it's just cooler that they are "DOTS"
The style is JDM so the turn and reverse are on top while the driving lights are the larger portions.
Let see how they handle the cold wet weather of Oregon!! I'm pretty happy with it, they fit perfectly and now my car is almost all black! COME ON NEW PROJECTION HEADLIGHTS!

Here's a link that shows them on a white 2. Not too shabby. I have never been a fan of the "clear" tail light style, but these do look good and with them being the JDM style in the light arrangements they may be something I would consider. For 100 bucks more you could get the actual OEM JDM tails but I have yet to justify spending the money on something that looks so similar.

I don't like them much. Never a fan of Altezza lights.

The new trend seems to be e-bay Altezza lights, Buick like cooling vents (stickers 3 on each front fender), hood scoops that you tape on and 18-22 inch wheels, curbed or scratched or dented the rear wing is optional, Lightning Eyes or LED DRL add-ons are also a must for that stupid Audi Look. Tis almost like the Civics in the 90s, not the fast ones but the boulevard cruisers.

I feel the same way. This is why I tend to want the spend the little bit extra for the JDM tails. BUT I know I saw a thread in here with some SEMA type show in the Phillipines or something where the red Mazda 2 had some LED tails on it. If those ever become an option I may consider those. But we all know how much stuff from those shows actually hit the market...

I am not downing these LED lights though. I think they look tasteful and I would love to see more pics of the black or red ones on a white 2.

They look pretty good on your black 2. I would have to see them on another color 2 to see if they would look out of place or not.

I think I’ve seen some black housing ones instead of that chrome. My next purchase is these HID projector headlights and xenon kit I found then Navigation system.

Which Projector headlights? I been searching for one ever since I got the car. The only ones I could find are like 800 dollars which is outrageous.
I just installed the In dash Nav and a new sound system. 12 inch bass and amp with new speakers last weekend.

What navigation system. ahh i see, you have a sport,the nab system, I’m getting is fully molded into the center dash so all i have to do is swap out the whole panel with stereo and wallah.
