Ok I found a dealer that will ship out to me for $99 the japanesse cx-7 led side mirrors color matched.

Also another dealer sells lower near fog light area turnsignals as well for the car so my question to you all is if I do purchase these how hard would it be to install them so that the turn signal works properly?

#1 would I have to splice the turn signal wire so that it feeds the two led devices? or would I have to set it up as a signal relay and tap power from another line?

#2 would I have to remove the side curtain panel which by the way clearly says SRS Airbag on it off? which worries me being that I dont need accidental air bag blow out.

There are some other posts regarding led mirror thing... most of what I have seen, it appears that you have to do some splicing.

I guess I dont see the big need for blinking led in my mirrors...

what dealer are you gettting them from....I want them too. And and most likely you will only have to just split the wiring. And most likely your not going to have to take the pillar panel off.

there is NO way in hell you'll get those *stock* JDM LED mirrors for $99... the only way it's happening is if it's aftermarket

that s*** costs a mazda dealer alone at least 200 bucks for ONE mirror, and it *will* be the complete unit... you *cannot* get the LED light separately

Sorry my mistake it's this

the light is shaped differently than the real OEM ones, just so you know
Must be an Asia thing... I bought the ones off ebay and they are Mazda OEM part, as far as I could tell. I haven't installed them yet, though - obviously, I'll need to tap into the turn signal leads somewhere. Shouldn't be that hard, now that I have the Workshop Manual and Wiring Diagram :D

(I am taking this car to Europe in May, where side markers are required, hence the reason for getting these).

side markers are more than just required in europe
you'll need *white* parking lights, *separate* from the turn signals... this means you'll need to get the bumper lights too

if those ebay turn signals do not have the "E-mark" on them, then they're not legal in europe at all since you seem to be concerned about legality in europe... not to mention the headlights are not legal in europe either

Yeah, I know all that... I'm from Czech Republic... let's just say some rules can be bent, if you know what I mean :D
