leak, possible BPV problem??

Well, i feel dumb, because the problem actually is the wastegate.

I don't know why, but it holds positive pressure great, but i figured out with the vacuum pump that it won't hold ANY vacuum, at all.... and since the BPV and WGA were on the same line from the manifold, the BPV wasn't getting enough vac to open, hence the compressor surge.

When i had to replace the wga before, i ordered it from atpturbo or something... there are more options out there now aren't there?? Does anyone know if any of them will last more than 25,000 miles???

i think atp, forge and oem are your only options with atp being the cheapest by far, i think you just need another atp as you could have gotten a bad one

i went with the forge.... because of the fact that it says its rebuildable, and you can change out the springs for different boost pressures, which may work out well if i ever get the unichip going.

haha, well get that damn unichip working because pretty soon ill be able to kill you in a race

alright so, theres a hurricane heading towards texas.... in case anyone doesn't have the news.... but anyway, chances are that weather won't be too bad where i am, but in case it is i want to have my car running so i can put it in a parking garage if i need to...

Should i hook everything up as is, with the leak, compressor surge, and running lean, or should i just not hook up the wastegate and be very careful to drive gently??
