Here, Get some of these...

Heres what ive found best from G-Tech / Strip

I drop my tires down to about 25psi

on the strip i roll into the water put the car in 2nd pull the ebrake and dump it around 5 and hold for about 5 seconds.. enough time for me to walk the wheel a turn to the left and a turn to the right.. i then let the ebrake down and spin the water off.. out of the hole i like to go about 4000 on the strip and somewhere around 3500-4000 on the street i will drop the clutch tach it out.. let back out on the throttle for a split second.. dip back into it and grab second.

Heres a video of me on a launch on the street vs a turbo GS auto eclipse.. he powerbreaked it off hte line.. SOrry its kindof bad but there was a cop and your not aloud to have video cameras so we had to tuck it away and when the cam picks up on the launch i had just let out and slammed back into it. That car has the haugn racecraft kit w/fmic and big16g @ 7-8psi i think. heres the video i know im gonna get flamed and people are ognna be like he wasnt on it.. But he was.

What kind of 60' times do you run then? You are doing this 5 second burnout on street tires?

Yeah, I always thought it was not good to do burnouts on street radials. Drag radials or slicks ok. To each his own. I launch at 2500 and slip the clutch. The MSP has a fast spool up. Traction is the issue with these cars, too much RPM and you will just spin the tires.

eh maybe less of a time.. enough time for a lil smoke but not that much..

high 2.1's low 2.2's with burnout high 2.2's low 2.3's without.

EDIT:

Also it REALLY depends on the lane at the track.. almost always one lane is much much better than the other.. just depends on whats blown up off the line that day and where.

It was at a stop light. I prefer racing from a roll, but the guy was a b**** and didnt want to . And my tires and Dunlop Graspic DS2.

WTF are you doing with snow tires on...in July...

That'll give you traction problems right there. Get some real tires put on that car and save the winters for the snow.

i have a problem with the way i launch the car dies for a second i loose all power and then it kicks right back in... what is it and how can i kill it?

example:

im at the drag strip... staged i hold it to 3k .. i slipped the clutch ... (.046 rt) but i spun a little and then the car fell on its face... did i flood the motor? did i get to much traction? with the mods i have it should be higher then a 15.7 @ 93

so help me please

boost leak

i dont think thats the problem cause i have a boost gauge and it reads fine... the whole car dies for a few seconds no power or anything even my turbo timer counts down then it kicks back over and away i go (uhm)

if i didnt have this problem with the .046 r/t and the trap speed of 93 what time should i see?

Yeah, 15.7? That is WAAAY too high.

Do you have a boost gauge?

sounds like youre learning to drive stick....the reason the whole car dies is because youre not giving it enough gas and the cars practically shutting down. either rev higher, or dont drop the clutch so fast.

4-4.5k.. or bust .. Spinning is faster than bogging :).

You shouldn't be bogging if you are launching lower than that.

4-5k is too high for street tires.

Spinning more than you need it is slower than spinning just enough.

wth? the car dies totally like shuts off and comes back on? you might has some electrical connection problem with the turbo timer. .400 is a perfect R/T on a pro tree and .500 is perfect on a full sportsman tree. A .046 is a redlight. 93 trap is about a 14.8 to 15.2 E/T.

and yes the car dies for a second then kicks back on.. the guage cluster goes out all my lights and the tt starts to count down
