- 2012 Mazda CX-9 Touring AWD
Been posting for a while in the tech threads but never posted an intro. We recently traded our 07 Nissan Murano in on a CPO 2012 CX-9 Touring AWD. It's the wife daily but will be our go-to vehicle for road trips and weekend errand running. I picked up a homelink mirror on eBay for $50 that I'll be wiring up this weekend and installing a trailer hitch (Reese, same as the Hidden Hitch one) as well as the Mazda wiring harness. As soon as the weather warms up I'll be doing the transfer case oil change.
Initial impressions are it's probably a little slower than our old Murano but it is hauling around a lot more weight. Really glad to be back to a 3 row SUV. Before the Murano we had an Expedition and never seemed to use the 3rd row. A few months into owning the Murano it seemed like every other weekend we were taking 2 cars because we didn't have a 3rd row.
