lastest date to order a Mazda3

Hi!

Does anyone have experiencing ordering cars late in the model year? I want to make sure i get all the options I want, the colour, and brand new (not driven by some madman-afternoon-test-driver like me).

I'm paying down some bills before I order myself a Mazda3, but it may not be until early September.

Any ideas?

also, do you think they'd let me specify the tire brand?

I've heard that the Toyos are better in the rain. I've seen both types on my local dealer's lot.

Just go to your dealer and tell them you want a factory order and want the vehicle to arrive in September. I did a factory order myself - my dealer put in the order with their January ordering allocation and the vehicle came in early March.

As to the tire brand, you won't be able to request a certain brand from the factory. You're in Canada, and N. American Mazda3's have Toyo Proxes for 15 & 16-inch wheels, and Goodyear Eagle RS-A for 17-inch.
