Craig, perfect idea. Get a BUNCH of pics of France, or Italy, and post them all over the kitchen, with a flag also. Then learn to cook something of that culture. Do it all before she gets home from work, or send her out with her parents. When she gets home, tell her you wanted to take her to that contry for dinner, but decided the jet lag would be too harsh for one day, and dinner.
She will love it, you gotta use your imagination on this, but it works. Its easy, and creative to do. I would also suggest getting a nice present to give after dinner, but I am also at a loss, other then the ring.

I think you should get her a nice watch! My watch is a part of me and it's a very precious gift that my father got me, and YES, I do think of him everytime I get a compliment about it, so imagine if my man had given me that watch!

Oh yeah, I just wanna say here, that not all women need a ring to feel like they a. have a secure relationship or b. feel secure about themselves!!!

It just really depends on the chick I guess!
I just know that right now they have all sorts of gift sets out and well IMO they are wonderful!
I like when people buy me make-up and have never looked at it as degrading!

He stated that trips for them don't have the best of luck!!!
Now I am just waiting to hear more....I am really good at giving ideas...probably why my husband makes me buy his family their gifts....that and the fact that I get it done!! In fact I am almost done for Christmas!!!

We just got our first home a few month ago we are still working on to make look less like a demented clown house but its just looking more like a crack house, so again we are back to not haing any time.
Jewelry is overdone at this point and she likes Tansenites(spelling) which are simply to damn expensive.

She likes flowers and clothes like most women, but I am only good at buying flowers. I used to help my grandmother pic flowers a her house when I visited, so I seem to have developed an ability to make a hell of an arrangement. She had a wild flower garden. before I get called a pussy on this, I also helped my grandfather gun down gophers and wood chucks in his garden. Gramps maybe 80 but he will Mess up a vermin at 100 yards.
She hangs out with people that are cool although they are all 80's hair band people, except for her. They go to 80's tribute band concerts and crap like that. She wonders why i stay home
.She is the single least decisive person on the planet. To her she picked the color for the living room. In reality I picked 2 colors as possibilities from the 3 million available and she picked the one I said I liked the best given the couches color but never said it was definite. She asks me if I want what shes making for dinner, then asks me what she should cook. I saw whatever you were already going to make. A loving fight insues, we finish it with sex, its all good (thumb)
