She's not a "play" person either. Now a balatte is another subject altogether but she will no I am hating every second of it. WHould giving her 2 tickets to a ballette so she could take a friend be a bad thing?
MazdaspeedZOOM said:honestly if she is into ballet then taking her to one would be a good idea, especially if she knows you don't like it. Sometimes doing that which you hate can be a great sentiment to a girl. I know that in a lot of relaitonships i've been in that when you do somthing for them that they know you aren't really fond of, but you are doing it because you want them to be happy, it shows your willing to make a small sacrifice in order to do something they really enjoy. I think a nice romantic dinner for two and a ballet would be a very simple yet nice sentiment.

as for the whole ring idea, if he hasnt thought of it yet himself, then its a bad idea....if they have been together for 8 years, im sure its been on both their minds, but, i'm sure not not knowing what to get a gf for her bday is not the time to be like...oh...cant think of anything else, may as well just buy a ring!!

Tell her you want to take some time off to play the field a little bit. You are too you and have been together too long. Its time to move on.
Grab your balls and stop being a pussy.
Can you tell I listen to Tom Lykis???
Thats why I wanted a ladys opinion. That how she is and how I am really, we don't want to be the reason the other is doing something they don't want to be.Dreeza said:i agree and disagree...for my birthday, i think i would rather do something that i know my bf was enjoying too...its one thing is her parents give her tickets and then he decides to come along, or she really wants to see some ballet, and he agrees to take her...but not for her bday (unless there is something out right now she is DYING to see) i mean, i would rather have fun, and know my bf is having fun too, not being forced to sit through something he isnt too fond of
