Good grief...
A girl up here at work is part of a fund raiser for her church and is selling boxes of these donuts. Being the sucker that I am, I bought a box... It is now 30 minutes later, and I have eaten 9 of them. Whew, I think I am going to die.... but those were some of the best damn donuts I have ever had. (How could I resist, they were still warm?? ) Got Milk?? LOL

LOL! I would try that, but his sense of humor is quite limited. Besides, if I were in charge of 8 Non-social programmers like he is, I would be too probably... We had a guy a few months ago that looked at porn all the time, and would mail pictures to people through-out the building. It was funny to me when he got fired. If it wasn't for him working here, I would try your suggestion though.

I could soooo take a nap right now...

just keep THIS in mind...any time you want to take a nap....just move your chair back from your desk a little...and prop your elbows on your knees...then put your head in your hands and snooze.....the IMPORTANT part to remember is if ANYONE wakes you up.....the FIRST WORDS out of your mouth before you move your head is AMEN.... :{D they can't bust you for praying.

of course...if you are snooring....that might not work..lol

Krispy Kremes are relatively new to L.A.... I think they just started opening stores here around three years ago, so there was this huge craze to try them. It used to take about 2 hours to get through the drive through, and people made a party out of it. It would be 2 in the morning and all these "kids" would be there, blasting their music and meeting people from other cars. Ahhh, the good old days... lol. Now they aren't such a big deal. I can't even remember the last time I had one, even though I used to buy one everyday at the little one they opened up on the USC campus!

That is awesome. I sleep pretty heavily though, if I fall asleep in that position, I'm pretty likely to wakeup on my keyboard here in front of me. Keyboard + Puddle of Drool = Not so good.

This sounds like a tried and true method though... :thumbs_up:

I have the same problem! I laugh and then try to pretend that it's over something "worldly".

Although my boss' office is a quarter mile away (and he doesn't have a clue what I do, so I never see him anyway), I have a programmer who works for me who probably wouldn't be impressed...

I actually KNOW a guy that has trained himself to say that EVERY time he wakes up....and yes...its worked for him! lol

as far as the keyboard goes...yes...its a bad thing when you wake up....you get up from your desk to go and attain a little snap and you go to talk to a co-worker and he looks at you and asks " why is asdfghjkl; imprinted in little squares on our forehead???" LOL

Well they opened the first KK not to long in Canada in Toronto here.... me just thinking it was the in thing didn't go for a month then a car meet was held there so we went. Waited 6 hours in the damn drive through line for a damn dozen donuts... 6 hours.... I ate 4 donuts at 6 in the morning....

Now that is pathetic.... this KK is still making those damn sugar coated donuts 24-7 and being sold like mad... it's crazy... but oh so yummy.....

Do you have to be, like, a donut connoisseur to understand the whole KK thing? When I lived in Washington they opened up in Issaquah and had long (several hours) waits all the time. There were news and radio broadcasts from the parking lot, like it was the second coming. I just don't get the mad rush for a damn donut, unless there's like diamonds or $100 bills inside or something.
