I own a 2010 Black Speed3 and was gonna pick up a 2nd set of wheels soon. I'm pretty much set on the Konig Illusions but can't decide if I want it with the ones with the white outlines or the red outlines. Opinions and thoughts would be appreciated! :)

well i hate to tell you but those lines are not white. They are machined so they will look silver when you get them. I have a set of the red ones on my black gen2 speed but i custom made the center caps and repainted the lines a different shade of red. It was cheaper for me to buy the blue version used and get them powder coated then i painted the red lines on myself. Check it out if you want to see how they look but yeah, those lines are going to be silver, not white...

Id go for the white/silver... But its up to you i guess...

Ive seen a lot of black cars with red details and its not something id want for my car... still looks good though...

Hi,

I can get great prices on those with free shipping. Check out my wheel forum for more info. Although the Konig Illusions are not shown on my wheel forum i do sell any Konig wheel. Let me know. LINK

Yeah some of my other friends said the white/silver would be different but look good because they would expect to see the red usually. And Font Motorsports, what is the price of the Gold with Machined Undercut Konig Milligrams in 18x8.5 +35. I was originally interested in those and gonna use the Illusions as an extra set. Let me know prices please.

I went with red simply because it is different from the usual black with polished lip. I think both are reasonable but i would expect the silver to actually last longer. When i bought mine, the blue was all chipped up because you might not be able to see it but the spokes stick out quite a bit further than the lip of the wheel/tire so they take alot of rock chip abuse. I would say silver.

I would go with silver too. I have seen countless cars with the red and I have maybe seen one or two with the silver and none with the blue. I guess it also depends on whatelse you are going to do to the car. If you have decals and such and you want the rims to match then go with your color of choice. Myself I want to get blue HID's and some other decals and my car represents my sports team so I am going with blue. Either way all 3 colors are great. I just thin red is used more often of the 3. Also, what exactly does the +35 mean?

I'm not a fan of either wheel but if you are dead set on them I'm going to choose red. (This thread needs a poll ;))
