knock?

ok today i installedmy gauges and MBC, i installed the gauges and took it for a test drive to see if the gauges worked, at idle it reads 20 vac then boost gets up to 5psi, then i installed my MBC and set it while i was setting it the fires run was at 4psi the seconed was 15 psi when i saw it jump that high i got off it real quick. well now i got ti set to 8 psi then went and drove around for a bit, while it was idleing (cool down) i herd some sort of knock in the intake tube right before the TB, i held my hand on the tube and felt it vibrate the sound of the knock. what it does is knock for a bout 20 sec then quits for about 40 sec what could this be? is it engine knock?

no, mine does this sometimes too, acutally mine is more of a ticking after i run the car sorta hard. sounds more like water dropping on somethign metal to me. i dont think it in the intake sounds like the turbo cooling off to me. i could be way off but i hear a ticking noise everytime my car is cooling off, its almost like a PING every 10 seconds then it stops after the car is completely cooled off. i could be talking about somethign differnet tho.

no its not that noise, every car makes that noise when cooling off

NO, not that noise this is different maybe for all turbo cars it makes this noise but all the other cars i ever had never made this noise. oh well, not the same one.

you run 15 psi for an extended amount of time without fuel management and you just might give yourself engine knock or worse down the line. Linux and I will attest to that

if its just your intake tube is just vibrating, its probably not engine knock.

wait i just realized something u said ur ran at 15 psi. but the fuel cut on the msp is at 10 psi and has been show several times. unless you bounced off the fuel cut i see 15 psi impossible unless it was a split second even then i dunno. coulda been a flook on the guage for a second.
