I'm surprised no one mentioned this but the 195-200 horsepower rating that the ZE engine has is running Japanese 102 octance gas, you'll actually end up with about 185 hp running 92 octane. Still a great motor and has very good torque when compared to the 2.0 of the base model. The one thing to remember about the engine is that the rods and pistons are very light weight from the factory and do not like taking too much extra pressure, so if you boost you'll want to look into a stronger rod and piston set with anything over 9 psi. You can definitely have a lot of fun with the MX-6 though, I miss my 94 but had to et rid of it, way too much of a pain to get two kids in baby seat in the back with me and the wife in front.
