Keeping GT wheels clean

2016 CX-5
Hello, I just purchased a 2016 GT with the nice wheels. I've never had wheels this nice on a car and I'm wondering what everyone does to keep these clean and shining? Any specific cleaners or other products you would recommend? How often do you clean them?

Thanks!

I just use the same car wash soap I use on the body, just with a different brush.

And after you clean them, Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer or a similar product will help them shed crud.

I use Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel & Tire Cleaner -

And with it, I use the Speed Master Jr Wheel Brush to get into the nooks & crannies -

With this combo, I can even keep the insides of the wheels clean.
To keep them protected, I use Zaino AIO so road grime does not adhere to the wheels' finish -

And to get rid of brake dust for a quick touch up in between washes with Meguiar's HRAW &TC, I use Meguiar's Ultimate Kwik Detailer -

Yeah, I love those new 19" wheels on my GT, too and can't keep myself from keeping them so clean you can eat off them!! (evil)

These ar all the correct issues to keep the CX-5 clean and fresh.................

I wax my wheels with either Turtle wax ice wax of meguiars Ultimate liquid wax, the same stuff I use on the car. When I wash the car I start with the wheels and separate bucket (don't use the same bucket as the rest of the car!) with some car soap. I spray the wheels with wheel cleaner, usually Meg Hot wheels or Megs APC. I spray the wheels when they are dry and scrub the tires and the rims. The tires I use a hard bristle short tire brush and the wheels I use the soft bristle long handle brush and this wheel cleaning stick: https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

I like that it's double sided and long enough to reach all the way into the wheels. It's also flexible to reach behind the spokes.

Thanks for the info all. I have some advance auto parts store credit to use this weekend.

Chemical guy Diablo wheel cleaner and agitate it with a soft bristle brush. I usually clean it twice a month. And after cleaning, I apply wax or sealant to protect it.

Yes, I was pretty impressed with the stock wheels too. I've also never had rims this nice on a stock car.

As long as you keep them clean regularly, you'll be okay. Don't make the mistake of getting lazy about it b/c you'll want them clean eventually and by then, dirt would've caked on and it might require claying to get the stuff off. Washing once a month in City driving during a drought would be decent. I'd love to do it every 3 weeks or so. Of course that depends on your distance from the ocean, temperatures, parking inside/outside overnight, type of conditions you drive in, etc.
