i am a michigan member, and i think that we need to make a club so that we can get some sweet discounts and what not....right now i am at college in the u.p. but i live normally 40 minutes from detroit, and about 10 minutes outside of pontiac, in a town called white lake, which happens to be right next to waterford. Don't get me confused with living in pontiac, because the difference between my neighborhood and pontiac is like night and day. Sorry just had to get that out, anywho, i think we should seriously have a meeting soon, and or start a car club. Also is anyone hitting up HIN on May 2nd, at cobo?

hell yea man...first i think we gotta get a meet though, i don't care where we do it, i just prefer that we do it after mar. 10th because of my spring break, that is when i am working on my car.

oh yea, while i am still on tonight, i am getting tax returns soon in the total of 850 dollars or so, so i was wondering, should i get cams and high compression pistons or should i get the wings west evo hood? I know you will say go turbo, but i am not going turbo at all, i am staying NA. Anyway, let me know wut you guys think.

Well i have been on the forums for a while and i always bitched about having no one in michigan...
i am an avid autocrosser and track day guy..
if anyone wants to meet up anytime and hang out or anything that would be great. i am know my way around out cars too. even if i dont know how to do it i can figure out how since i just bought a repair manual. i have done all the work on my car except the exhaust...

i live in Ann Arbor.

anyone in my area at all??

I have been intrested in getting into autocrossing but don't know where to start? any hints? I know that the scca has a michigan chapter is that where I should be looking?

well if you live in the dertroit area you could race with michgan sports car club. the michigan corvette club. and detroit region scca,or saginaw valley region scca.

you can check their sites on dates and locations of events .. there is always at least 2 autocrosses within an hours drive. they cost b/w 15and 35 dollars for 3-6 runs on average. its a blast. you can also go and see events on myautoevents.com they have driving schools rallys autocrosses road racing ... they post dates locations and who is puting the events on. you can also pre register which is very nice for the popular events.

the first autox is in Ypsi. at the gm powertrian plant on apr 13th.

Count me in for a MI club.... mazdamp3_18 is a cool guy, got my winter rims/tires sorted thru him! I hope to do auto-x school too but depends on time/family/job/life! I'm planning an doing the Injen CAI once it comes off prototype as well as install a Turbo Timer/Boost Guage, the clubs collective assistance would be appreciated (in exchange for beers of course).

Im in novi. I want to see some other cars with mods. i know one guy in novi w/ a p5. He is older though. No mods for him. Sometime soon some of us should meet up.
