! Its Official ! Shelter 12 has been booked for April 14th from 3:00pm-10:00pm. The cost was $30 ($60! if we had waited another weekend) so depending on how many show, everyone just bring a few bucks to cover your half.

Try and bring something food and beverage wise. Anyone have any spare charcoal laying around, otherwise I can go out and get some. The lady I talked to was very animate about "no alcoholic beverages" so if you so choose to have something, I recommend a QT cup to mask the evidence. *Don't forget your cameras

Hope to see as many of you out there as possible and if you need any directions just shoot me a PM and I can help you out.

I think several people may be heading out there early pending that there is no one else at the shelter for the first session. Some are talking about getting there around 12:00. So entirely up to you guys, but from the sound of it, we will be out there for the majority of the day. I plan on being out there around 1:00.

Of note, we're up to 15 confirmed Mazda's to be at the meet!

Wish I could be there.....there is always next time.

Sometime in May/June we need to get a dyno day going. My turbo will be on, and my buddy wants to see what kind of power 21 psi on his Ion Redline makes.

guys - count me in as a 'maybe' -- and yeah, i know, i'm usually chiming in as a 'maybe', but this time i'm going to do everything i can to at least come by for a bit. Just dont be surprised if i park a quarter mile away so no one can get a good look at the 'busted ride'.

Just going toss this out there. Several of the RX8 folks are debating the benefits of scheduling the meet for that following Sunday (4/15) to avoid the crap weather and gamble on the forecast for it being in the 60's on Sunday. I know a several of you guys are traveling for this meet, so I'm sticking up for you that no spontaneous decisions are made. Would you guys still be able to make it if all parties did decide to reschedule for this coming Sunday? Your thoughts --->

Guys, the Sunday reschedule idea has been scrapped and we're still ON FOR TOMORROW. I think several people are still planning on showing up around 12-1ish but weather pending you might want to show up a little later. We have the shelter until 10:00pm so you've got plenty of time to make it out.

Again try to bring something if you can. I'll be bringing several coolers to keep cool what everyone does bring.
