I put mine in this past weekend, both shifter and bushings. The shifter was about 3/4 shorter in the threaded area, and about 1/4-1/2 inch longer below the ball compaired to the stock one. It was enough to shorten the shift and make it smoother. The bushings made it feel a lot more precise. It was a little tough on my shoulder since it is messed up still from the accident, you have to put a little more effort into it esp when its first in there. Over all I give it an A+, it has made shifting a lot better, now its time for synchromesh
