As the title states, i need to know the weight of the Kartboy shift knob??? i emailed Kartboy themselves, but the guy who emailed me back said he had no idea because they have been discountinued for awhile now. I might buy a used 1, id like to know the weight of it?

idk what im looking for, just something weighted so 4 my twm ss. I havent installed it yet so i dont know how the stock knob feels when shifting, but ive read and it seems like a CW is worth it. I think I might go with the Greddy or just go big and buy a TWM knob. I think the Greddy Is probably the best price/performance best buy.
i was told the RX-8 knob is pretty heavy too???

thats the knob, and yes they are discontinued, but if you dont have the shifting #'s email kartboy and they will send some.

What knob is this? Is it leather and how much does it weigh? I like that.
its the mazda speed rx8 shift knob. very heavy, nice easy shifts with the counter weight. im not sure exactly how much it weighs, but its a little heavier than the stock m6 and rx8 knobs. its not leather, Urethane plastic, Mazda part number QSEA-46-030

the only thing that bothered me about the kartboy knob was the size. it's a good shape and weight, but it felt too small in my hands and was a tad short. i put it on and about a week later switched back to the 02.5+ knob. with the stock shifter it wasn't so bad, in terms of height, but when i switched to the kartboy ss, the height really bothered me.
