K&N Intake hissing

Hello everyone,
I just installed a K&N CAI on my P5 and now you can hear a hissing sounds from the filter is this normal or did something go wrong? Has anyone else heard a hissing sound from a CAI on their P5?
Thank for any advice on this problem.

Completely normal. Stock system is meant to be quiet.

+2 on the hissing...............just for more warm fuzzies. Not the filter and not just CAI. SRI same same. Different brand filter same same.

No you don't have any leaks And Yes, I actually prefer the hissing.

OEM intakes have ribs (looks like an accordion) somewhere on the pipe which minimizes sound, however steals performance. Air likes to flow without restriction
