If you want to get "noticed", get the Mustang.

If you want to drive, and do so in comfort and style, get the Mazda. NO ONE is going to "notice" the Mazda.

then i realized what you guys were talking about with the clutch, its so finnicky, and the catch point is on like a hair line. Does the clutch adjustment fix it a lot?

Also, it was extremely revv happy, most likely compliments of the 6 speed.

I drove the mustang GT afterwards, and it seemed to sound faster, but feel slower, even though it is faster, probably becuase of the MS6's revv happiness.

I don't know which way to go, i know this is an MS6 forum but input anyone? anybody regreting it?

also how is the 6 speed treating you on the daily? im gonna be driving almost exclusivly in the city... so anyone with that criteria, does it get to be a pest shifting constantly?

Well, I assume you didn't get that deal in June of 2006 when the car was truly new in the market. Any kind of deal like that will have to mean leftover model you bought in late 06, early 07, therefore they had to reduce the price on an already depreciating car. I can't see an 07 GT selling for anywhere near 25k out the door right now, because it's still only mid way through 2007. Perhaps if by Spring of next year they still have 07s in the lot, then it's possible. They also likely produced far less in 07 (less colors), so the deals like you got were likely a one time deal on an over produced MY with massive incentives in order to sell them.

Still though, I think well below invoice is definitely doable on an 07, so an 07 Speed 6 sport should be easy to come by at $25k, either right now, or very soon.

Like the people are saying... sticker?! What the hell are you doing paying sticker? Cars don't appreciate... never pay sticker. You should at least be able to get them to invoice if not better...

my one problem is that the car i have now, 05' v6 mustang black/ red leather/ all options besides shaker 1000, has been keyed twice, egged twice, hood dented, shaving creamed on my roof, backed into. So i need about $4200 in paint work, and its only worth 12K, and i still owe 19K. If i could get my car to at least break even i think i could get a MS6, but i need to at least get there. Any suggestions?

Yep, the stealth is what sold me. I was also looking at a Mustang, LGT and a used 540i. The only Subaru dealer in the area has the absolute worst reputation that was confirmed on my (short) visit there. The other two fell out of the running after looking up theft and vandalism statistics for the models.

Lester, dude, you're upside-down on your loan. Now is not the time to buy a new car. Especially if it needs that much work. I feel for you, this being Summer and all, but seriously, you just shouldn't get even more in debt.
