Didn't see any one posting about fire arms. I enjoy shooting a lot. Is more relaxing than smoking.

Very nice indeed. I have not been out shooting in a long time. That might because I do not own any firearms right now. I think need to go out and buy a handgun.

i want a gun, what do i do?

Mira Boricua!!! It all depends in your state. Here you need to have a clean record and be over 21 to buy a hand gun. It also depends in what kind of gun you want. But if all you want is a handgun it should be simple. Just go to your local gun store and start shopping. All you will need are 2 form of IDs with matching addresses and a utility bill with your name and matching address. I always recommend go to a gun range and rent different types of guns and see what you like. Guns are like shoes, they have to fit your hands really good for you to make the most out of it. After you pick a gun, go take some classes so you can really learn how to use it.

You walk in and say: I want a gun.
Gun Guy: Ok, what kind of gun do you want?
You: A gun that kills people
Gun Guy: Ok well Maybe I can interest you in this Fully automatic Assualt rifle
You: Wow I like this how much
gun guy: $XXX
You; Thats not bad, Ill take it. What do I have to do?
Gun guy: promise me you willnt kill anyone?
You: I can do that.
Gun Guy: Cash or charge? How much ammo do you want?

I have no guns of my own but I do love shooting, could never hunt. though. I use my freinds. they got a few .22 rifles, Ak47, 30-06 etc...

went and looked at a few sr9s at the local gunnery. damn i like that gun. they had it in stainless, black ,and black/green. Surprisingly the stainless it the cheapest at 400-409. the green was most expensive at 432. I need someone to talk me out of it! they do bowling pin shooting every monday night and its addicting! 5 pins, 6 rounds. scored on speed. I notice yours still has the old trigger. you going to send it in for the recall?

Just started shooting a bit with my woman's father, only been out 3 times but I'm really getting into it. He's military and his best friend is a competitive shooter. He gave me an old Lee Enfield 303 and I also shoot my girl's 22 rifle. I have really taken a liking to 2 of his pistols, Beretta and a Glock with the exhaust vents in the front to steady it.

Btw, what is that rifle of yours? Looks sick!

They all taught me how to fire and clean the guns of course, and also a bit about loads and things, but I still feel like a huge noob. Guys got any info on where to go to learn the most the fastest about guns if I know next to nothing?

Old pic. I just got it back Last Friday from getting the trigger done. So far I liked the old one better.

That's my M4 rifle. It is awesome.

If you want to learn about guns you need to find a gun you like. Try to make Glock your last choice. They are not bad guns but a lot of people get them because they are popular and cheap. Shop around. You can also rent them in your local range. That would be the best thing to do because you can get a feel for different type of guns. One word of advise, try to stay away from 1911s. They are the "Cadillacs" of guns. Very smooth, clean and accurate but $$$$.

My SR9 (silver and black) is pretty good gun and very reliable so far. I have over 5000 rounds through that thing with only one "stove pipe jam" with very cheap ammo. For the price of that gun, I get some features that come on other guns that cost twice as much. I also like it because if you have small hands the gun is very slim with an adjustable back strap. Once you decide what type of gun you like, then you have to choose what you want it for. If you want to carry it, size is something to consider.

nice pictures. unfortunately its a long process to get a handgun in this lousy state of ny. have a cz and a ak47

one of my tattoos..wish i could shoot it! lol
