2003 Spicy Orange MSP
If I was to sell my MSP now....(needs a motor rebuild...cylinder 2 is leaking oil and needs new valve seals)..what can I get for it? I'm gonna sell it as is minus the steering wheel, and racing seat. No not parting out.

Say..167,000km

rebuilt GT25 turbo (about 60,000km)
steedspeed manifold
forge wastegate
Greddy profec ebc
AFC
Ion FMIC kit
GReddy RS bov
Prosport mech. boost gauge
Prosport electronic oil pressure gauge
Prosport oil filter sandwich plate
Autometer pillar pod
AEM UEGO wideband
Corksport Bronzeoil shifter bushings
SU ported and polished intake manifold (no VICS/VTCS whatsoever)
Golden Eagle vac block
Corskport S-pipe
SLS - J-midpipe
Ion Race Spec springs
GT SPec trunk cage (orange)
GT Spec Ladder (orange)
Powerslot slotted rear rotors
KVR carbon pads
Goodridge SS brake and clutch lines
DG fiberglass grill
MSP 03.5 front lip
3M front bumper and mirrors
Work Emotion 17 x 7.5 rims with Parada Spec 2 tires (includes lugs and centercaps)
stock rims with Dunlop Graspic front winters and some cheesy all seasons in back
JVC dvd deck

So I can sell the car as is like that. And whoever has a spare motor to drop in, go for it.

Sorry to read about another msp engine crappin the bed. With all the work and nice parts you have put into your ride I would have thought a built engine was in your near future. However, from experience I can tell you that these cars are very difficult to sell. My msp had 1/4 the kms, some aftermarket parts, a decent engine, and offers to purchase ranged from 10500$ to 14000$. If I were you, I would part out and sell!

The hard thing is that the parts I replaced were either worn out or completely broken so i don't have much stock parts to sell.

I forgot to add that you would get all the stock parts that I kept that are still repairable or reusable.

Are you seriously just going to sell it? I would think that you would just put a new engine in and keep going... I may have a desire for it but I don't know what i can afford right now.

Oh yeah! I'm building my own turbo car! That's why I said I might be interested but if you're looking 12k with out an engine, that's way too high for my liking. I don't even have a garage to store it.

What kind of price were you thinking? How much do you have into it?

12k

The mods that I listed were mostly purchased by me. Some were already on the car like the lip, grill and deck.
Probably close to 4k.

Funky if you ever do end up considering parting out let me know! you've got some stuff that im very interested in. It's too bad the motor's going on ya. Your MSP is sooo nice

Well, if I'm looking at almost 5k to have my motor built and the maybe another 5 for the mods and parts to go turbo, I have a car made in 10k. It would be nice to have another car to play with and then use mine as DD. If you've got 4k into it I'm thinking for just the car you'd only get 3-5 in stock condition and un-running. My best offer would be like 7500, and thats about where I could go. Again storage would be my first concern.

That's probably the best choice. Have you been to the Junkyard to look for a motor yet?

Not yet man.

So my car totally crapped a bucket today. Radiator developed a leak and spewed coolant all over the gas station floor LOL. Had to get it towed to the dealership to see what they find. Plus to get other things fixed like the AC. No car for a bit.
