just purchased white 2009 MS3. i have several questions reguarding mods.

1. first question is i like the turbo XS stealthback exhaust. i know they have extended bungs. after installing this exhaust would i throw any check engine codes??? has anyone??
2. what is the size piping of the stock catback. It looks 3 inch and pretty unrestrictive.
3. is cobb the best short ram intake?? does everybody break there mount braket that holds the intake in place??
4. Is the hks BOV Kit an easy install and no cutting or modifying anything?
5. i keep hearing the stock rear motor mount sucks. is the one on my 09 bad too or is it better? do u reccomend changing it? if so what kind. and is there any negative side effects to stiffer rear motor mount?
6. last ?. will my car run fine with good afr's if i have the stealthback exaust, intake and BOV? on stock pcm

1. If it's a cat-back system it will NOT throw any codes, but instead you could get a testpipe which is way cheaper and will give you better gains.

2.Stock piping is 2 1/2 (not 100% sure please correct me if Im wrong)

3. I've been running cobb SRI for a while now and I've never broke the bracket, you might want to upgrade your engine mounts which will keep the engine in place when you shift hard

4. I dont know about BOV kit, I would recommend a BPV (by pass valve) for our cars.

5. Read 3 And no urs isnt really better MS3 mounts are s*** period. Replace EM!

6. It should be perfectly fine, might want to at least get a boost gauge to monitor the boost.

also is this a hard install for the downpipe??? how many hours labor expected?

I will be adding an aero force scan guage in the vent pod to have a boost guage.

I ment the HKS BPV. its the one that comes in a kit specifically for out car. its NOT a VTA

and is there any negative to a aftermaker motor mount for the rear

1. you might but can be cleared with a dashawk
2. 2.5 inch
3. everyone just likes the cobb but there is nothing wrong with any other intake
4. the HKS BOV is really easy just put the recirc fitting on so it runs in bpv mode
5. your mount is fine. buy a motor mount to get rid of wheel hop. good cheap mod
6. perfectly fine

As Mr. above said it might, I think aeroforce gauge is got the same features as the dashhawk so it should get the job done. And installation should be a b**** hehehe.

HKS should be fine, but I'm getting the forge BPV I've heard so many good things about it.

I bought it a second ago lol....I will install it next week cuz OF THIS GUY asking about bpv/bov DAUMNIT!!! Skydriver you reminded me of my hunger to MOD.......arghhhhh.......must ...go... see.... doctor......or.....ah **** it I WILL ORDER more parts make the economy a bit better LOL...... at least til my credit card bill comes

i just searched on youtube and i hurd everything. I like the turbo xs BPV better. I like it loud
