JUST got part 1/2 of my kit

I have a log style manifold as well. It flows good and is nearly indestructable. I remember back when companies first started coming out with kits for the protege and everyone immediately would dismiss the BEGI kit because of the log style manifold- and in all reality out of the manifolds available at the time it looks like it was possibly the best flowing. None of those tubular mani's were any good and most broke because of poor craftsmanship. For people wanting to run 12 psi or less a log style mani is perfect...

(werd) My log put down 228whp @ 8psi with an "okay" tune. So don't think that style of a mani is no good, because they are!

a log stlye mani is capable of making the same peek power... the only real benefit of a tubular mani is spool times...

I do believe he IS making a FMIC for the MSP soon... and he WILL be working on the AEM as soon as some other, more pressing projects are completed.

werd.. if i was gonna go with a log stye manifold..i would definitly go with cast!

tim didnt one of you MPI guys get a turbonetics cast manifold? If i could go back this would be the manifold i would use. It is cast, but not log style. Seems the best of both world. I think it is the same mani hi-boost uses.

Yeah that was KzA. When I redo my piping, I may go with that mani, unless I hear good things about the MAM tubular one. It is the same as the HiBoost one, but with a T3 flange on it.

Actually Tim you will see the differences between the two shortly. From what I hear the hiboost mani's runners are about the size of your thumb. The MAM tubular mani has much larger runners. I think there are plans to take a side by side picture of the two for comparrison.

The hi-boost one is cast thought.. isnt the MAM tubular one gonna be SS?
