Just got my dirty ass axle back today!

I bought this used from mp3racer and just got it in the mail today. Didn't think too much of the "corrosion" would come off but it all came off pretty easy with some mother's metal polish and it looks a hell of a lot better now.

what did you use to apply the polish? was that done by hand? Nice work btw.

Yea I used just a few regular towels I had in the garage and some mother's mag and aluminum polish and yea it was by hand. I started to go buy a dremel to polish it up but doing it by hand was too easy. There's still a few scratches from the previous owner i'd like to remover though.

When I bought my used RB Cat-Back a while back, it looked all rusty and was covered in road tar from a freshly repaved road, so I know how you feel. I had to start with steel wool and then use metal polish but it came out decent.

Good polish job, looks damn good!

Yea I skate a lot! I love the accels but I had some skate shoes from nike that felt a lot more comfortable.

This may be how its supposed to work but I cant ever really hear my exhaust too well until a few minutes after the engine warms up and its a bit quiet in the cabin when deccelerating so is that how its supposed to be or should I check for leaks or something?? Other than that I love the sound!<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

You should try some of the nike team editions also. They're probably my favorite out of all the nike sb's. I had some of the limited team manager edition's that arent made anymore and I skated the crap out of them and I kinda regret it now cuz theyre worth about 150 now Here's a pic of some of them from an auction on ebay
