So far - so good!
I really love the Galaxy Gray. I have to say that when I was waiting for my new car at the dealership I kept looking at the "red" or whatever it's called (copper red mica?) one in the lot and thinking that maybe I should have got that color. That color never crossed my mind before seeing it Live. But it works on the CX-7. Actually, all the colors looked good. Go visit them - Seeing the car and the colors up close and personal changes everything. I was hesitating on the CX-7 and it was my very last test-drive/visit when I was car shopping. Seeing it and driving it quickly made up my mind. I don't think pictures do this car justice. It was love at first sight when I visited the car on the lot. And the test drive quickly calmed my concerns about all this "turbo lag" and no 6 cyl talk. I haven't noticed any negatives in this area SO FAR.
I been traveling back and forth to the cape from Boston - and so far I've yet to spot another CX-7 during that journey. However, I've seen a heck of a lot of Nissan Murano's. I keep thinking Nissan must have some sale going on or something...because I can't believe how many Murano's I'm seeing lately. (The Murano, The RDX, and a used FX35 were the other finalist/wish list when I was making my car purchase. ) Seeing a lot of newly redesigned CR-Vs on the road too. As practical a choice as that purchase would have been - the cr-v just didn't excite me. I test drove it. It's perfect for somebody. And if someone wanted to give me one free of charge...sure. But I couldn't get real excited about it. (I rather have a Mazda 3 hatch. If I wasn't going for a cross-over/AWD - the 3 hatch would be my pick.)
I have to say I'm extremely happy with the CX-7 so far. I guess if I ever catch up with technology - I'll wish my Tech Package allowed for an iPod connection. And of course, I'd love to get 100 miles or so to a gallon of premium gas ; ) - but other than that...I love the CeXy beast! Only a month old - so it's still the honeymoon phase, I know - but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
So glad to have found this forum. I'm learning a lot from you all! Thanks!
