Just Got A Carbon Fiber Evo Hood From CARBONFIBERONE.com

I just got the hood on friday. i got it from these guys www.carbonfiberone.com and I LOVE it . i love the looks and i like how it keeps the engine bay MUCHHH cooler, after a 2 hour drive in the traffic in 80 degrees weather, the hot IC pipe was still cool.
I was goin to get the VIS hood but I HATE those fake side vents that it has, and ive heard good and bad stuff about there hoods. I also chose this one cuz its made in usa and they are the people who made the hoods for Wings West.

hey i looks awesome in that color, i don;t know if it will look good in blue,how much you pay for it??

Does it look like there is a gap in the front where it latches. Seems to me that there is more room between the grille and the hood then there is on the stock hood? But looks damn good, I would have to have a hood that came with mesh and rain guards though.

YES the hood does come with a mesh. i will put it on next weekend after i paint in black,cuz i dont like chrome on my car hehe. it doesnt come with raingaurd. the hood doesnt have any bubbles at all. the gaps could be adjusted very easily but i dont like wasting time to make it fit perfect..

yes they are the hyperblack ones. in 17s. i will get more pix of my car and post a thread in the appearance section once i drop it and get some more carbon fiber goodies and install my fmic.

No group buy. LOL I already have it i thought they were done making them. ANy way i will vouch for not needing hood pins. 134MPH cant even see it move. And if you get rain guards for it wanna let me know where Im still nervous about the rain on the engine.

this kind which is evo6 or7 style,evo8 style that Fiber Images makes which is around 1k and God knows how long the wait is and the reverse cowl hood which IMO and again IMO doesnt cool the engine bay as much as the evo hoods .

Nice hood. I did not want hood pins on my car but after seeing a couple cars go down the track and see there hoods fly back I decided better safe then sorry.

my hood doesnt have chrome vent on it now. the pix are without vents. i will just spray paint flat paint on the mesh before puting it on
