Mazda CX-7
and man, I love this car. I was wondering, this being my first car with a turbo, if there was anything special I needed to do to the car in the early stages or in the later stages for that matter. Any info would be great, thanks. I will try and post some pics tonight or tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Since it's a turbo, make sure you always use premium fuel and keep on top of the oil change schedule recommended by Mazda. For longevity reasons I would switch to synthetic oil, but that's not really necessary I guess.

Other than that, enjoy your new car! The CX-7 is so cool looking, nice choice :)

Dont get on it, until the car is completely warmed up. Also maybe invest in a turbo timer to help prolong the life of the turbo :) Enjoy, its a sick SUV thing

Thanks for the replies guys. I reall appreciate it. I am loving this thing so far. It's hard for me to stay at work and not just go out for a drive. The only issue I have so far is that the driver side door shakes when the stero puts out strong bass. I would expect this over time but not just after 2 days. I will have them check it out when I go in tomorrow for my FQI.

Congrats....it is a fun car to drive as are all Mazda's! Please share some pics soon! Enjoy!

About the stero speakers......if you dont have the BOSE sound system with your car then the stock speakers SUCK!!! I had mine replaced with Kickers and got a small amp to help with getting more volume within the first week of owning the car. I also bought the IPOD adapter for it. It's awesome!

Yea, mine has the Bose speakers. They sound great especially for a factory system. The only problem is what I mentioned about the doors vibrating when really strong bass hits. They told me at the service center that it was something to do with the weather stripping between the door panel and the frame. And they couldn't do anything about it. Hard to believe if you ask me. I will have to pay attention to see if it gets worse. What IPOD adapter did you get?

some rubber inserts where the plastic is vibrating and/or some dbl sided tape or foam to fill the gaps that reverb into the cabin. Open the door and that overlapping plastic onto the metal of the door is where most of it comes from (like undernearth where the side mirrors are)

for 9inch woofers in the door, there should have been some better materials used and/or better construction of the door because it really takes away from the amazing sound.
