Just finished...GT Widebody kit

I think I found the wheels I want....now it's just finding out 1) if they will fill up the wheel well, 2) how much they will cost, and 3) how much of a pain in the ass they will be to clean them.

(ughdance) At least its painted I guess. I'll give him that much. I def wouldn't do that unless I had the drop and wheels lined up that same day. That is if its your daily driver. Nice job though!

until that day, this will have to be classified as rice

I think this is a work in progress... I'd get spacers next for your mod.

Peace

i respect all the work that has gone into the car, it looks very clean, but WB kits in my opinion only work with high HP RWD/AWD cars, supra, skyline, rx7, evo, sti, m3, etc, not on a FWD protege or any FWD car for that matter. It looks out of balance.

But if you like it then thats what matters.

Yup, it's a daily driver, and always a work in progress. I'm thinking spacers, but I'd rather spend the money on wheels...it'd be more economical that way.

Yes, I agree that widebody kits are supposed to be on AWD or RWD vehicles. But hey....that is something I can always fix. ;)

I dunno if i'd rock it personally, cuz i like something less aggressive usually, but i like it. Of course its a work in progress, but i'd definitely like to see it when its done.

Yeah wheels....uhm....I'm about $2000 short on wheels....

why do the body kit if you are keeping those wheels? seems like the two have to go together or else it looks like s****

i give you props for doing the wb correctly and getting it professionally fitted and painted... its not my style, but once you get some wheels and a drop it will look bitching, and frankly, you'll hypothetically be able to outhandle all of us stock bodied bitches because you should be able to run like 9 inch wide rubber and grip like a mo fo in the corners....

^^^^^what he said! i'd say tub it out! even though it's front wheel drive. nobody will know the difference. s***, some guy asked me last night if i did an engine swap and put a v8 in my car cuz i ran by him like he was standing still....and he was driving a mazda 6.

Mad props on the install bro.........looks bitchin. Hopefully I can go WB someday, for now I'll have to live with fender flares.

looks more like a EVO now...good luck on explaining its a MAzda

The bumper is not bad. The fenders are very nice. But the rear bumper I can not stand!

its very hard for companies to make a good rear bumper or diffuser...i just prefer a simple rear lip.

Thanks for the new comments everyone! The wheels I'm looking at are Konig Crosshairs. I'll post a pic of the wheels later, I gotta get going to work. If I remember correctly, they have a 19x9 that I wanna get.

I've had 3 people stop me, in traffic, and ask if I have an Evo. It's fun, actually. :)

I agree on the rear bumpers...it's tough to find a good rear bumper. It looks better now than it did...there was a cross-bar that went along the lower edge of the bumper I had to cut off. It looked like ass, and my exhaust didn't fit through the opening.
