The MS3 is better suited for road racing like the S2000.

Yes but if you've ever driven an 05 and up S2000 (2.2 liter motor) you most likely wouldn't be disappointed unless you can't fit in one right (Designed for a small to avg size person) The car is a riot to drive, gets pretty good mpg, built from the ground up as a convertible, Honda reliability, Hand built motor with forged internals, light weight, 50/50 weight distribution, awesome ergonomics, 8200 redline, etc. It's not as fast in a straight line (5.3 zero to sixty / 13.9 - 14.1@around 99-103 mph in the 1/4) but the handling is excellent and so is the fun to drive factor.

I said "lucky" because the slightest changes in weight or temperature can greatly affect the S2000. If its a hotter or humid day, or you're a bigger guy, your chances of seeing 13's pretty much disappear.

Well, the same thing could be said about any car, especially the hot/humid part in ref to the MS3 with its top mounted intercooler (heat soak). And yeah if your a "bigger guy" you wouldn't want to be in an S2000 anyway.

I plan on paying off my 09 MS3 GT in the next two years if everything goes as planned, then we are going to payoff the wifes 08 Honda Accord..after that i plan on buying another Toyota Tacoma because i really need my own truck again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Unless something totally unforeseen happens, there is no "next car". This one is just about perfect for me, and as the aftermarket gets bigger, it'll only get better.

As a Daily driver I don't have any desire whatsoever to get a different car because in my opinion the MS3 is damn near perfect in this regard. However, for racing purposes I'd perfer something AWD/RWD, 50/50 weight distribution, light weight, and a little more power while at the same time being suitable as a daily driver.

I've been thinking about the Legacy spec b but haven't been too impressed with what I've read about it. Most reviewers seem to think it's "too soft", the brakes are weak and lacks steering feedback, etc. However, I bet the aftermarket can help improve on those flaws so I haven't completely eliminated it just yet. I see that Cobb has the access port for it which improves power a good bit along with suspension set ups, etc. If I ended up getting a spec b I would most likely buy a Brembo big brake kit, Cobb AP running stage 2 & Cobb stage 2 suspension kit and call it a day. I really like the fact that it’s such a sleeper with AWD and it’s got the same transmission as the STI’S (albeit slightly modified, gear ratios, etc) which is a good thing from what I hear. The 09 WRX Doesn’t sound too bad either but I don’t trust the transmission it’s equipped with and the fact it’s lost almost every comparison test to the MS3, just doesn’t sound like a logical upgrade IMO.
